Cleric offers bounty on cartoonist

PESHAWAR, Pakistan - A Pakistani Muslim cleric said Friday that he and supporters were offering rewards of more than $1 million for killing Danish cartoonists who drew caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad.

Well now... What's the UN going to say about that? A religious leader placing a murder-bounty on the head of some cartoonist. It that a violation of International Law? Will the UN begin efforts to apprehend Maulana Yousef Qureshi and bring him to justice? Not a chance.
They don't recognize evil.

"If the West can place a bounty on Osama bin Laden ... we can also announce reward for killing the man who has caused this sacrilege of the holy prophet." With morally-confused logic like that, this guy could be Secretary General of the UN someday! (Look out, Bill Clinton, someone's gunning for your job!)

Close Gitmo?

Kofi Annan to US: "Shut down Gitmo".

US to Kofi and UN: "Shut up!" ("...you feckless bunch of morally-impaired self-important bureaucrats!")

The brouhaha over the Mohammad cartoons

If you've happened to actually view the cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammad that have ignited fundamentalist Islamic violence in Europe over the last week, you may be shocked, shocked to witness the mindless hypocrisy of those taking offense, while not getting worked-up over the reality of
the above image.

Instead of being hypersensitive to any Hollywood portrayal
of Muslims that might reflect poorly on Islam, perhaps their
spokesmen would be better served to heed this message:
